My Story

On Sunday, 10 May, we will be taking on Walk the Wight to support patients and families cared for by Mountbatten - the Island's only hospice.

 
Over 10 years ago, the team in Newport Currys carried a washing machine across the Island in support of Mount Batten Hospice. It was long, it was hard, but it was fun, and we raised a great amount of money to support a really brilliant and important charity.

So, this year we have decided to do it all over again!!

Your sponsorship will help provide 24/7 expert care and support, free of charge, for thousands of Islanders - whether at home, in the hospice in Newport, or at St Mary's Hospital. It also funds bereavement and psychological support for anyone who needs it, plus therapies and social activities that help people live well in the last years of life. 
Every pound you give makes a real difference. Together, we can make sure no one faces death, dying, or bereavement alone. Thank you for supporting us and Mountbatten.
